Therapy Exam Prep (TEP) has gone on the road to help promote the May 2011 launch to Physical Therapy students that are about to graduate and prepare for their NPTE. The first set of travels begin in California to visit different PT schools.
CSU Fresno
Therapy Exam Prep’s first visit was at CSU Fresno. It was a nice sunny afternoon when walking around the campus and posting up flyers around McLane Hall, Student Union, and the Science Buildings. Bookmarks were also left at the Student Union. I didn’t get a chance to see the PT department or the classrooms since it was a Sunday.
CSU Northridge
As I was traveling from Fresno down to Los Angeles, I stopped at CSU Northridge. I walked around the nice campus and went to Jacaranda Hall to inform the PT department about Therapy Exam Prep. I provided handouts and bookmarks and was given Dr. Dan’s email to follow up on. I didn’t get a chance to talk to any students or see the classrooms as sessions were in and the blinds were down.
Chapman University
Another nice and sunny day to go visit schools and Therapy Exam Prep went to Chapman University. I walked around the main campus looking for the PT Department and a student kindly told me that it was about a half mile past the railroad tracks. Once I found where the PT Department was, I talked to the administration assistant Erin about TEP. A 3rd-year student was there at the desk to take the flyers and bookmarks for the class. I was also provided with the person in charge of the coordination for exam prep for the students and have sent out an email to her.
This is just the beginning of the Therapy Exam Prep PT school visits and so far I have enjoyed visiting each school and look forward to being able to talk to students and inform others about the service.
