The following is a list of additional resources to help you prepare for the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE). They are meant as a supplemental reference rather than for academic studying of the material. While Therapy Exam Prep, recommends avoiding the studying mistake of using too many resources, the following have helped candidates have an easier time with particular topics.

These study guides are meant to be used as a reference while studying for the NPTE.
THERAPY ED
This reference has a strong academic and background information; however, can be dry and hard to understand. There are charts and graphics and currently the 3 practice exams of 200 questions are on a USB key.
This reference has good academic information for the NPTE and is easier to understand. There are pictures and charts as well as clinical templates. The 3 practice exams of 200 are online only and has an access code to use. Once the practice exams are used; calling up the company is needed in order to get additional access if buying a used study guide.
The following “notes” are a small spiral bound pocket guide that is great for carrying around and being able to quickly refer to the information. Plenty of pictures, charts and graphics as well as being waterproof.

This peds rehab pocket notes is a great resource for reviewing developmental milestones and intervention approaches. You’ll find the common diagnoses for children and pictures to help with objective measures and tests.
This pocket notes provides a good review of over 60 different ECG arrhythmias and 12-Lead interpretation. There are 50 exercises to test yourself on strips.
