I receive daily emails about “How does Therapy Exam Prep(TEP) prepare someone for the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE)?” The answer to this question depends on the needs for the individual as there is no generic template to preparing someone for exam success. TEP’s program has been very helpful to me especially with organizing my thoughts and study plan overall. The scope of study for the NPTE can be very overwhelming but TEP has efficiently outlined the study program for me and I don’t worry at all if I miss on important topics or ask myself if I was able cover everything.
I find TEP’s assignments very clinical which is very good since that’s what the exam is all about and the forum posts and support is excellent. The exchange of ideas in the forum were challenging and has helped me to stay away from the academic way of looking at questions and answers. In addition, we can post topics that we needed more explanation to especially the ones we have trouble understanding and we have a community that work together ensuring that questions are answered to our satisfaction. It’s not just interactive but it’s active exchange of ideas and fun way of learning things.The timely feedback on my posts and practice exams including the assignments has kept me on track knowing where to pay more attention to and how to perform better on the next practice tests with the different tips and strategies tailor fit for me based on my exam analysis.
Thanks to Miye and the entire TEP team for all the materials you provided us with to aid us in our study and exam preparation. Your exam process has been a tremendous help! I know I would not get the same high scores I have on the practice exams had it not been for TEP’s exam process. I am so glad I joined TEP. It gave me the confidence I needed because I know I was guided well. I would happily recommend the program to all the PTs who wanted to be successful in the NPTE.

I want to echo what Mary Sue wrote about TEP as a preparatory program for the NPTE. I joined TEP early in 2013 right after I learned what the program teaches and how it works to lead aspiring PTs study smartly.
